8:00am - 12noon - Breakfast, welcome, and research presentations

12noon - 2:00pm - lunch and poster session

2:00pm - 5:00pm - research presentations

5:00pm - 8:00pm - Reception and dinner

Friday, February 19

8:00am - 12noon - Breakfast and research presentations

Noon - 1:00pm - Lunch

Afternoon departures

Travel:

Active awardees can pay for their round-trip airfare and transportation to Pasadena from their Brown Institute program budgets. Please plan to arrive Wednesday and stay through Friday lunch. If your schedule allows, you may stay through the weekend.

Spouses/partners are encouraged to attend but will pay their own air travel and non-shared transportation costs. They are welcome to attend all meals.

Hotel accommodations will be provided by the Brown Institute. Hotel registration will be requested in the fall. The Brown Institute will cover hotel, shuttle transportation between the hotel and campus, and sponsored meals and activities.

Presentations:

Year 2 (2025), Year 4 (2023) and Year 5 (2022) Brown Institute awardees will be asked to present a 20-minute overview of their research plus a 10-minute Q&A on Thursday or Friday. Non-presenters (Year 1 (2026) and 3 (2024)) will be asked to participate in a poster session. Information regarding presentations and posters will be sent later this year. A schedule of presenters will be distributed closer to the meeting date.
